DESCRIPTION: Originally designed as a recreation of the pickups in the '59 Les Paul Standard that defined the raw rebellious sound of Texas blues-rock.  The Pearly Gates is sweet, but slightly rude, with great sustain and a bright top end that make harmonics jump out of the guitar.  There's lots of edge to cut through, but not harsh.  You get smooth breakup even on small amps.

The calibrated Alnico II magnet perfectly matches the coil's resonant frequency for even response and traditional output.  A Pearly Gates Neck and Bridge together will give you a great raw blues humbucker setup.   Neck and bridge position models are specially calibrated to their positions for an even volume balance.

Comes with 4-conductor cable for versatile wiring applications.
